This recording is so fair and evident of the little special bit of magic that comes from Choir Boys live performance. The words and music maintain their somber beauty but with an added clarity and energy that seemingly oozes between the drum beats. I cherish my autographed cassette that I was lucky enough to acquire upon my first meeting with these modern day minstrels in the living, breathing flesh and my love for these songs only grows as months stack up into years.
